Can I edit a self-paced quiz after sharing it?
Yes. Open the quiz in the editor and make your changes. A published self-paced quiz uses the updated questions for future submissions. People who have already submitted keep the questions, answers, and scoring from when they played, so their saved results do not change.
Do I need to send a new link?
Section titled “Do I need to send a new link?”No. Editing the quiz does not replace its share link. Only Regenerate link creates a new one and stops the old link from working. You can check that the quiz is still published on the self-paced sharing page before sending it to more people.
If you change a question to a text answer without setting a correct answer, the quiz may be unpublished until you finish that question and publish again.
What about someone already playing?
Section titled “What about someone already playing?”Someone already playing keeps the questions loaded on their open page; your edits do not appear there automatically. But if they reload, they may see changed questions, and an answer submitted after you change the correct answer may be graded against the new one. To avoid that mismatch, let current players finish before editing.
