Should I run my quiz live or let people play at their own pace?
Choose live play when everyone can answer together and you want to control the pace. Choose self-paced play when people need to take the quiz at different times. You can use either mode with the same quiz.
What is a live quiz?
Section titled “What is a live quiz?”In a live quiz, everyone answers at the same time while a host controls the pace. Players join on their phones, and the host can present questions, reveal answers, show results, and move to the next question.
Live mode works well when the group is together, either in the same room or on a video call.
What is a self-paced quiz?
Section titled “What is a self-paced quiz?”A self-paced quiz uses a shareable link or QR code. Players open it and complete the quiz when it suits them, without a host needing to be present.
Use it before an event, during flexible downtime, or whenever people cannot all play at once.
Do I choose a mode while creating the quiz?
Section titled “Do I choose a mode while creating the quiz?”You can prepare the questions and design first, then choose how you want people to play. The same quiz can be launched live or shared for self-paced play.
