How do players join a live wiwo quiz?

Players can join from a phone or other browser without installing an app. They either scan the QR code shown by the host or go to wiwo.se and enter the quiz code.

How do players join with the QR code?

For a live quiz, players can join by scanning the QR code on the Host screen:

  1. Open the phone’s camera and scan the QR code on the Host screen.
  2. Open the link that appears.
  3. Enter a name and join the quiz.

How do players join with a quiz code?

For a live quiz, players can also use our short join address, wiwo.se, with the code shown by the host:

  1. Go to wiwo.se.
  2. Enter the code shown on screen or read aloud by the host.
  3. Enter a name and join the quiz.
Enter a live join code, choose a name, and wait for the host to start.

What happens after a player joins?

In live mode, the player waits on their device until the host starts the quiz. During play, questions and answer controls appear on the player’s device while the host controls the pace.
